Duties & Responsibilities
Provide strategic direction and leadership on the development of appropriate HR Policies across the bankAssess current and future policy requirements to support strategic aims in conjunction with the banks senior managementResearch best practice to enable best design of company policiesDevelop appropriate employment conditions and support to company staff deployed on international assignmentsMonitor employment legislation developments, assess the impact on the company and develop policies to maintain legal complianceProvide direction on staff engagement so that the bank regularly measures and responds to staff feedback to improve the company as a place to workTo monitor the success of implementing human resource policies and suggest where applicable if and where any suitable improvements could be made.Develop overall HR strategy, in accordance with specified organizational objectives and to ensure current HR best practice.To enforce when necessary the importance to employees of complying with the standard operating procedures put in place by the bank.Play a central role, in conjunction with the Managing Director and board of directors in forward planning and strategy development for the bank as a whole.Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures across the company.Develop a co-ordinated and consistent approach to the way in which the company engages with all staff directly and indirectlyLead development of policies which promote equality & diversity across the companyQualifications:
Education:
Bachelor degree preferable in a field related to Human Resources or equivalent.Masters degree will be an added advantageMember of IHRMExperience:
