Internal Auditor

Reports to the Board functionally and to the Chief Executive Officer administratively

Summary:
To ensure compliance with applicable laws and society policies, ensure that the society’s operations are carried out in an efficient and effective manner in adherence to internal controls and policies and advice the board on risk management matters.

Qualifications:

Holder of CPA (K) or equivalent qualificationRelevant business related degree preferably B.Com or Business Admin would be an added advantageCertified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) will be added advantageMembership to relevant professional body (e.g. Institute of internal Auditors)Three years’ experience in Internal Audit in a co-operative society or related institutionKnowledge on Sacco IMS is a pre requisite e.g. ASMASHow to Apply
