Will deputize for the Project ManagerFocal point for all railway track infrastructure development issues including components manufacture, supply, testing and commissioningFocal point for all cadre of staff induction, training and capacity building in railway tack infrastructure developmentSetting and monitoring implementation schemes and milestonesPreparing monthly progress reports and other reports for Management.Setting up safety, health and environmental sustenance rules and regulation at all working places and labour camps ; monitoring safety etc at working places and labour camps.Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering Twenty (20) years professional experience in civil engineering and 15 years (15) experience in railway track design or construction/maintenanceKnowledge of railway operations will be an added advantageFluent in spoken and written EnglishDemonstrate understanding general railway operationsBe a team playerRailway Track Engineer IIDuties and Responsibilities
Handling Railway corridor development issues including, supply chain, materials testing, machinery deploymentTraining including induction and capacity building for all staff in railway corridor developmentSetting and monitoring implementation schemes and milestonesPreparing monthly progress reports and other reports for Management.Setting up safety, health and environmental sustenance rules and regulation at all working places and labour camps;Monitoring safety at working places and labour camps.Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering Fifteen (15) years professional experience and ten (10) years experience in transport infrastructure design or construction or maintenanceFamiliar with structures designs and constructionGood knowledge of geotechnical investigationsFluent in spoken and written EnglishDemonstrate understanding of general railway operationsBe a team playerTerms of Offer: An attractive remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and responsibilities of the position will be negotiated with the right candidate.How to Apply
