Industrial Relations Officers
Reporting to the Manager, Industrial Relations, the successful candidates will be responsible for advising employers on all employee relations issues, labour laws and regulations and mediation with a view to maintaining industrial harmony for enhanced productivity.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations process between employers and unions; Advise on all labour and employee relations issues; Represent employers in conciliation meetings/ trade disputes and other Forums; Prepare training materials and deliver training; Provide Secretarial Services to affiliated member Associations and other Committees; Liaise with social partners and employers on employee relations matters; Responsible for drawing agreements, and other instruments.Bachelor’s degree in Law or Social Sciences; A Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Relations or Human Resource Management (Master’s degree in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage); At least 5 years experience in a comparable position in a large organization; Membership in the relevant professional body.An attractive and competitive remuneration package commensurate with one’s experience and qualifications will be offered to the successful candidates.Interested and qualified individuals should forward their applications enclosing their detailed curriculum vitae with a daytime telephone contact, current salary, expected remuneration, copies of certificates and testimonials and three references and send to the following email address: recruitment@fke-kenya.org to reach the undersigned not later than 7th November, 2014.
