Our client a leading insurance that offers Insurance services is looking to grow its team by recruiting an energetic and very ready to work Branch Managers.

Job Purpose / Function: Take charge of branch operations and ensure that they meet or exceed set performance targets in respect to underwritten premium, client recruitment, service quality and expense control.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Promote business growth and achieve set growth targets by aggressively marketing the branch to potential customers and increasing the services provided to existing ones. This will include monitoring market activities and identifying ways in which the company’s services can be improved and rendered more competitiveEnsure that both internal and external reporting requirements are complied with fully and that reports are accurate and timelyEnsure that branch operations run smoothly and profitably so that quality service is provided to customers at all timesSet performance standards for Branch manager that are in line with the Company’s business targets and ensure that staff understand those targets and have the capacity to achieve them. This will include ensuring that staff are well trained in their jobs and regular monitoring of performancePromote a positive image for the company by ensuring quality service and professionally handling customer complaints. Improve business for the company by maintaining good customer relationsTake charge of security matters at branch level and ensure compliance with set policies and proceduresEnsure that the branch’s credit activities are managed in a compliant manner, are profitable and pertinent risks are minimizedPerform operational duties including making payments and receipt authorizations and general staff supervisionGenerate the required reports in a timely and accurate mannerTrain and set targets and monitor the performance of agentsVisit, develop and maintain good rapport with customers and handle their queries, and reporting on any significant/persistent concerns to managementOpening and maintain new accounts within the region, in consultation with the Branch Overseeing Officer and AGM Marketing and overseeing the profitable growth of these accountsEnsure that territorial agents are paid in a timely and accurate mannerDesired Qualifications & ExperienceMust have strong education background in insurance industry with 3-4 years of experience in the same.Education background with experience in Sales and marketing also encouraged.Team player, with good interpersonal skillsTo apply, send your CV and cover letter to jobs@jantakenya.com before 3rd November, 2014 clearly indicating “ Branch Manager and the location of work” Do not attach any certificates.
