Job Title: Account Manager - Advertising Sales

Job Purpose:- The job holder will be responsible for all their sales activities including budgeting, planning, strategizing, sourcing for business and managing a team of sales executive. This position requires an outgoing personality with proven experience in selling media and advertisement services and leading a team of sales personnel.
Manage all activities of the sales and marketing department while ensuring that the sales/revenue targets are metPreparation of annual business and periodic budgetsDrawing and implementing marketing strategiesEstablish strong relationship with customers and manage all activities of the sales teamOversee market research, competitive and customer surveys Select, develop, and coach a professional sales team to meet or exceed specific goals for profitable revenue growth.Develop and implement annual sales plans together with the teamImplement the company's sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to customer's decision-makers at all levels.Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts.Pursue identified business prospects, participating actively in the planning and sales process for new business opportunities.Coach Account Executives to build effective staff relationships that enable them to respond quickly to emerging customer opportunities, and provide for seamless execution of the company's business processes that exceed customer expectations.Encourage and requires high level teaming and collaboration skills to gain the committed and motivated efforts of the company's staff who do not report directly to the National Sales.Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the assigned account base.Implement and monitor trade marketing activitiesAn MBA or Bachelor's degree in sales and marketing, economics or related field is preferred.Must have a minimum of 5 years of business to business sales experience in media and advertising industryProven experience in selling media and advertising services.Oral and written communication skillsProven experience in team management and leadershipConsultative selling skillsKnowledge of advertising industryAbility to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategyHigh level of financial and business acumenSales planning and Budgeting experienceStaff consulting and relationship building skillsAbility to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)Executive presence to influence senior decision-makersGood presentation skills.Previous experience in selling fm radio services is an added advantageIf you are up to the challenge, posses the necessary qualification and experience, please send your CV only quoting the job title on the email subject (Account Manager Media Services 80-120k plus Commissions) to jobs@corporatestaffing.co.ke before 22nd December, 2014.
