Signage Regional Company Production Engineer Job in Nairobi, Kenya

Our client, a leading regional company in Signage Production and Installation is looking for a Production Engineer. The successful candidate MUST have relevant experience in the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementing the production process.Achieving weekly production / delivery targets as demanded by management.Ensuring the production process is cost effective.Working out the human and material resources needed.Drafting a timescale for specific unit production.Estimating costs and setting the quality standards.Supervising and motivating a team of workers.Reviewing worker performance.Working with departmental managers to implement the company’s policies.Liaising among different departments; suppliers, technical and design.Ensuring compliance with workplace safety programs.Cross train worker teams for maximum production flexibility.Prepare and maintain production schedules and reports.Work out and implement standard operating procedures for production operations.Define energy efficiency goals for production staff .Must have leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering.Ability to define and transform technical drawings.Computer literate with knowledge of excel.Minimum work experience of 5 years.Education: Bachelors
