International Medical Corps currently implements projects in various counties in Kenya. International Medical Corps is seeking candidates to fill the following positions to support Nutrition Program.

Program Assistant – Nutrition Nairobi

Scope of Work – Essential Duties

Provide assistance in nutrition projects planning and implementation, and management.Represent IMC in national forums, provide feedback and support in follow-up of actionsMaintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders and IMC partners, including MOH, NGOs, and UN agencies.Support in reviewing program progress reports, funding proposals and documentation on best practices and lessons learnt within agreed timelines.Establish internal databases; sets up files (electronic and paper), stores and manages data and information relevant to the scope of programme/project activities.Work with other departments’ e.g. HR and admin, finance and logistics to enhance program supportAssist in the monitoring and evaluation of programme/projects;Performs other related duties as assigned.Must have a Minimum qualification of BSc in nutrition, proven technical and administrative skillsRegistered with the relevant professional body e.g KNDI.At least one year working with NGOs in complex emergency context.Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in emergency nutrition program in a limited resource setting.Strong negotiation and representational skills.Excellent team building, interpersonal and communication skills.Computer literateFlexible for Frequent travel to the fieldHow to Apply
