Advertisement of Senior Management Positions
Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) is the oldest middle level media training institution in Kenya established in 1961.
It is currently a State Corporation established through Legal Notice No.197 of 2011(amended).
The Institute offers training at Post Graduate, graduate, diploma and certificate levels in communication and Cinematic Arts.
The Institute wishes to recruit senior personnel to fill various vacancies and is, therefore, inviting applications from qualified candidates for the following positions.
1. Director
KIMC Grade 14
The Director who is the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for day to day management of the Institute’s affairs subject to the direction of the Council.
2. Deputy Director (Finance & Administration)
KIMC Grade 13
Reporting to the Director of the Institute, the Deputy Director (Finance & Administration) will be the Head of the Administration and Finance Division.
3. Finance Manager
KIMC Grade 11
Reporting to Deputy Director Finance and Administration, the Finance Manager will be the Head of the Finance Department.
4. Human Resource Manager
KIMC Grade 11
Reporting to the Deputy Director Finance and Administration, the Human Resource Manager is the head of the Human Resource Management Division.
5. Chief Supply Chain Management Officer
KIMC Grade 10
Reporting to the Deputy Director Finance and Administration, the Chief Supply Chain Management Officer will serve as the Head of the Supply Chain Management Department.
6. Administration Manager
KIMC Grade 11
Reporting to the Deputy Director Finance and Administration, the Administration Manager is the Head of Administration Department.
7. Chief Internal Auditor
KIMC Grade 10
Reporting to Director the Chief Internal Auditor is the Head of the Internal Audit.
8. Chief Information Communication Technology Officer
KIMC Grade 10
Reporting to the Deputy Director I.C.T. the Chief Information Technology officer will have the following responsibilities.

In addition, applicants should submit names and contacts of two professional referees.

- Kenya Revenue Authority
- Higher Education Loans Board
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
- Criminal Investigation Department (Certificate of good Conduct)
- Credit Reference Bureau.
