Our Client mainly dealing with Exports of Fresh Produce is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of an Accountant:Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Director, the incumbent will be required to carry out the following duties and responsibilities:
- Preparation of Management Reports for the Board
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
- Preparation, leading and coordinating of the annual financial audit.
- Maintenance of Fixed asset register.
- Preparation of VAT Returns and other statutory Deductions and ensure they are paid on time.
- Cash Management
- Payroll administration using PROSOFT and other staff matters.
- Participating in yearly budget preparation
- Preparation of costing of various materials.
- Reconciliation of trade and other receivables.
- Reconciliation of trade and other payables
- Preparation of Cash Book & Bank reconciliation statements Both Local & Foreign Currency
- Ensure the policies are adhered to.
- Any other related duty.
Job Requirements
- CPA (K) or equivalent and above
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar or related role
- Should be conversant with Sage Evolution.
- High sense of Integrity
- Analytical Skills
- Good Communication skills
- People Management Skills
