Agro-Chemical and Food Company Limited is a leading manufacturer and supplier of Spirits, Bakers’ Yeast and CO2 located in Western Kenya. 

We are looking for qualified, experienced and self-driven Kenyans with excellent interpersonal and ICT skills to fill the following vacant positions:
 

1. Process Superintendent 

(2 positions)
 

Reporting to Assistant Production Manager
 

Key Result Areas:

• Coordination of shift work.


• Maximizing production of as per set targets.

Job specifications:

• Must be between 25 and 30 years of age.


• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Food Science and Technology or its equivalent.


• Minimum three (3) years relevant experience gained from a food manufacturing concern.


• Working knowledge of ISO 9001-2008, 22000-2005, 18001:2007 and ISO 14001-2004 will be an added advantage.

2. Process Assistant

 (4 positions)
 

Reporting to Process Superintendent
 

Key Result Areas:

• Operate processing equipment as per laid down work instructions.


• Ensure good housekeeping.

Job Specification:

• Between 25-30 years of age.


• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology or equivalent.


• Minimum 2 years’ experience gained in a food manufacturing factory.


• Working knowledge of ISO 9001-2008, 22000-2005, 18001:2007 and ISO 14001-2004 will be an added advantage.

3. Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Supervisor 

(2 positions)
 

Reporting to Assistant Manager (Environment & Safety)
 

Key Result Areas:

• Operation and maintenance of industrial effluent treatment plant.


• Effluent monitoring and laboratory quality testing.

Job Specification:

• Between 25-30 years of age.


• Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental studies or its equivalent.


• Minimum 3 years’ experience gained in a food manufacturing factory.


• NEMA registered auditor will be an added advantage.


• Working knowledge of ISO 9001-2008, 22000-2005, 18001:2007 and ISO 14001-2004 will be an added advantage.
