Job Title: Brand Manager
Location: Uganda
Company Profile: Our client is the leading cosmetics manufacturer in Africa.
Statement of Responsibility: The main responsibility for this role is to lead in the development and execution of business and strategic plans to meet future needs and expectations of the brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the cross-functional teams that include salon, graphic designers, experiential to develop and manage brand objectives, goals and strategies
- Ensure the set marketing plan and mix for the brand is followed
- Monitor brand sales performance market
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assessment against set brand goals (ROI and KPIs) and change tactical brand plans
- Lead, motivate and supervise the activities of the brand team
- Manage the brand marketing budget
- Partner with advertising agencies to set communication strategies and develop advertising platforms/executions that maximize business results
- Lead the commercialization and in-market execution of product launches
- Partner with the in-house creative’s design innovation team to ensure proper insights, ideation and positioning
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven marketing leadership and ability to influence cross functional teams
- Professionalism ,customer care and relationship
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- A Bachelors degree in Marketing
- Professional qualification like CIM is an added advantage
- 2-3 years experience in a similar position for a FMCG company
- Experience in working with market research, FMCG company and R&D
