Responsible for recruiting world class professionals to contribute to accelerating the growth and profitability of Philips. Working on delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization, achieved through the developmentof national and international recruiting plans, employing sourcing


Strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruitingideas.


 


 


Key Areas of Responsibility


 


Intake: identify the customers’ business needs and translate them into an agreed recruitment plan, aimed at the fulfillment of the needs within time, budget and quality constraints.


Conduct in-depth vacancy intake-meeting leading to agreement with HM on proposed recruitment plan


Responsible for developing an in-depth knowledge of the job specifications to include experience, skills and behavioral competencies needed for success in each role


Act as a consultant (e.g. explaining theTalent Acquisition service portfolio and candidate driven approach orconsulting the customer on


Understand the customers’ business and itsneeds, including the organizational setting of the vacancy


Continuously improve knowledge of the labour market and the expectations of candidates


Continuously improve skills required for professional (effective and efficient) recruitment and selection processes staffing issues)


 


Sourcing: ensure sufficient inflow of potentially suitable candidates using the agreed sourcing channels


Responsible for building and communicatingan attractive employee value proposition (EVP) for all prospective candidates to include robust information on Philips, individual SECTOR information, thespecific position, career paths at Philips, benefits, etc.


Identify and pre-screen potential suitable candidates for a specific vacancy, a profile or Philips in general


Collection/attraction of interesting profiles for vacancies via Talent team, events, network, referral or search


Organize Talent recruitment events (e.g.business courses/challenges)


Keeping up to date on functional market trends (market intelligence)


 


Recruiter selection: identify suitable candidate(s) matching both the agreed business needs and candidate’s ambitions and expectations


Interview and select suitable candidates using competency based interview techniques + STAR and optionally tests (selection) while at the same time sell Philips opportunitiesto these candidates (attraction)


 


Businessselection: ensure the proposed candidate(s) are interviewed and evaluated by the business in line with the agreed recruitment plan, way of working and related guidelines


Initiate arrangement of business interviews, evaluation and optionally assessment center(s)


 


Job-offer& contracting: manage the offer process for the selected candidate in line with both the agreed compensation & benefits level for the job and the (realistic) candidate’s expectations


Create job-offer and validate with responsible HR Manager


Negotiate job-offer with candidate


Initiate final contract for candidate


 


Businesspartner: build and maintain good relationship, business knowledge and satisfaction of your customers (both Hiring Managers and HR Managers)


Keep customers up-to-date on recruitment and staffing related matters: Talent Acquisition Services, Labour Marketdevelopments, etc..


Manages communications to key stakeholders (hiring managers, candidates), ensuring timely and accurate updates on statusand feedback


Able to work on multiple procedures andmaintain constant quality and efficiency


NPS (Hiring Managers & Candidates)


Time-to-fill positions


Keep up to date on business trends &organization. Responsible for understanding the client’s business, products,services, culture and business strategies


Involve business in recruitment events


Conduct HM survey for each filled vacancy /new Hire


 


Continuous Improvement: pro-activelycontribute to the continuous improvement of Talent Acquisition organization andits services


Suggest/ submit improvement proposals


Contribute to / participate in internal projects


 


Compliance: deliver agreed recruitment services (service portfolio) in line with the agreed way-of-working and related guidelines


 


 


Education and Experience


 


Bachelor Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field (Preferred)


5 years + recruitment experience as a sourcing specialist or as a recruiter, preferably in a corporate recruitment environment or within a professional search & selection agency.


 


Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills and consulting skills.


Good interviewing skills by active listening and fact finding preferably using the STAR methodology.


In addition a strong focus on continuousimprovement of the recruitment process


Significant experience in fast-paced and highly confidential environment that requires juggling multiple priorities
