Send a Cow (SAC) Sustainable Agriculture Advisor Job in Kakamega Kenya - 2015





Send a Cow (SAC) is UK based international NGO set up in 1988 now working in 7 African countries including Kenya. 



SACs mission is to give communities and families the hope and the means to secure their own futures from the land. 



Currently SAC is delivering agricultural development projects in Western Region of Kenya.




With support from the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Big Lottery Fund and other funding partners Send a Cow is implementing a multiyear project in the western region of Kenya aiming to transform the livelihoods of 57,000 people. 



The project covers the counties of Homabay, Migori, Busia, Siaya, Kakamega, Bungoma and Vihiga.




SAC-Kenya (SAC-K) is seeking to appoint a Sustainable Agriculture (SA) Advisor to support participating communities (individuals, groups or cooperatives) to understand and address their problems for their betterment through sustainable agriculture practices.


 


The SA advisor will be a member of the SAC-K team and report to the Country Programme Director and will be based in Kakamega.
