Job Title: Academics Coordinator

 Key Responsibilities:

In conjunction with the Principals, create a scheduled program for regular counseling sessions with students and their parents to work on issues that may be interfering with academic performance and/or personal development.

Train teachers through Professional Development Classes to enable them counsel the children professionally.
Assist the principal in developing and refining School goals and monitor the achievement of the same at regular intervals.

Assist the principal in developing and refining new and existing syllabi for all the schools in the group to confirm to examinable levels.

Monitoring and evaluating the implementation / effectiveness of the syllabi at each campus.

Assist the heads in selection of the textbooks for effective delivery of the syllabus and ensure proper foundation to the next level.

Assist the School regularly review and strengthen the exam system.

Assist the school in implementation of Question Bank for all subjects and levels

Assist the heads in analyzing reasons for lower performance especially for  Grade 4 onwards and identifying appropriate solutions for implementation.

Conduct regular training sessions with the staff to upgrade the teachers’ skills of dealing with problem children.

Suggest ways of creating a distinct lower and upper primary.

Create a vibrant environment in conjunction with the school heads that reflect / uphold Islamic principles.

Contribute in quality production of the schools publications and programs.

Experience / Knowledge required:

  • Bachelors degree in Education
  • Minimum three years experience in School Management
  • Knowledge of the local and international (IGCSE) Curriculum
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of computers (Ms Office programs)
