Bridge International Academies was conceived in 2007 out of the belief that giving every child access to a high quality education would have the greatest impact on reducing poverty worldwide. With that guiding insight, Bridge International has developed a strategy that would enable it to launch a large-scale network of high-quality, ultra low-cost, for-profit primary schools.
The Operations team is hiring a Programme Associate, Operations to work closely with the Programme Managers at ensuring the overall success of the Operations team. This position will begin as a 6-month position, but has the potential to become a permanent full-time role.
Each Programme Manager oversees a specific aspect of Operations. For example, one Programme Manager handles everything related to academy personnel. Another Programme Manager focuses on academy supplies and academy construction/repairs. The Programme Associate’s role will be to help each of these Programme Managers execute the projects and programmes associated with their specific sphere of influence.
General responsibilities will vary depending on the programmes and projects being supported, but will include but are not limited to:
PHONE CALLS (30%) Conduct phone calls to Academy Managers of Teachers to collect OR to deliver specific information;Conduct phone calls to parents of existing pupils to capture and record data from those calls in conjunction with specific project/programme objectives;Conduct and receive phone calls to/from other members of the Operations team for check-ins, updates, and any important exchange of information;DATA COLLECTION, ORGANIZATION, & BASIC ANALYSIS (40%)Collect data via phone call results, emails, surveys, etc, and organize that data in Microsoft Excel;Create simple data tables in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to filter or sort that data by columns;Take disorganized data coming from multiple sources and enter that data in an organized fashion into specific data repositories (spread sheets, software systems) according to the appropriate format;Cross-reference multiple data sources including spread sheets and internal software systems to reconcile conflicting information;Screen existing issue tracking system for issues related to the specific programmes that the Programme Associate is supporting, and respond to those issues accordingly.Create surveys using various applications3. ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS (30%)
Conduct basic tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and assembling packets of information.Assist with scheduling of trainings and special events.Fill appropriate financial and HR forms such as requisition forms and reconciliation forms.Execute mail merges when requested.Helping team members problem-solve difficult situations they encounter on the ground; andThe Programme Associate may be called upon at any time to provide similar administrative, monitoring, coordinating, and reporting support (as described above) to any of the Programme Officers.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
