Designtech Enterprises is a wholly owned Kenyan advertising company that was founded in 1999. In 2008 it was incorporated as a Limited Company with operations in Kenya and the larger East Africa. Today we have grown to providing comprehensive best of breed creative design and signage solutions to both private enterprises and the public sector in Kenya and beyond. We are looking for an innovated individual who will be able to fill the shoes os a graphics designer. Are you the one? If you meet the qualifications below please send us an email with all the required documents. Responsible for creating a visible image that can be used in media and print. Uses software and hand-rendering to design products that meet the needs of the client.-Meet with clients to establish a vision for a product or design.-Select colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout.-Select the size and arrangement of the different elements.-Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs.-Employ color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing project.-Develop material for web pages.-Design logos for products and businesses.-Develop signs and environmental graphics.-Create promotional displays, packaging, and marketing brochures.-Develop the layout and production design of magazines, newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications.-Meet with clients to collaborate on design.-Perform research on competitors and market trends.-Collaborate with printers and field operators for production-Submit rough drafts to client for approval.-Develop new business contacts.-Choose and purchase equipment.-Coordinate delivery of items and take photos for evidence-Do work reports for invoicing.Not less than one year experience in a busy organisation as a Graphics DesignerMinimum diploma in graphics design or related field.Ability to write and speak fluent EnglishAbility to meet deadlines and work under minimal supervision.If you are the person we are looking for kindly email us with an application letter, CV, certificates, recommendations and your design portfolio to olivia@designtech.co.ke .
