Nature and ScopeThe position reports to the Assistant Claims Manager - General Insurance.The jobholder is responsible for two (2) Claims Assistants.Ensure prompt registration and acknowledgement of new claimsAssessing policy details, terms and conditions to ascertian validity of claimsEnsure correct claims data is inputed and captured in the systemEnsure that the claims service providers meet service levelsPayments of claims within the set service levelsPreparation of weekly and monthly service reportsThird party recoveriesPortfolio analysis and risk recommendation reporting to underwritingPerform any other duties as may be requested by managementKnowledge, Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree/Diploma in Insurance or business related studiesGood communication skillsComputer KnowledgeMinimum four (4) years experience in handling claimsProgress in ACII/AIIK will be an added advantageBachelor of Commerce degree in Insurance or equivalent; ACII/AIIK Professional certificationIf you believe you are the right candidate for any of these positions and can clearly demonstrate your ability to meet the criteria, please CLICK HERE to submit your online application to us on or before Friday 23rd January 2015.
