Campaigns and Engagement Manager – Africa

We are looking for a Campaigns and Engagement Manager – Africawho will lead the development and execution of multiple concurrent campaigns and engagement strategies across different direct response channels to deliver high visibility and impact for WWF among key stakeholders in Africa. The responsibilities include driving the efficiency and effectiveness of all direct marketing campaigns; managing campaigns’ impact and maximizing stakeholder engagements through robust lifecycle and project management. The role will report to the Director, Communications, Marketing & Fundraising – Africa.
Location: 
WWF office in Nairobi, Kenya with travel to other WWF offices in Africa and the Network as required.

Primary manager for all key engagements including media relations, stakeholder targeted campaigns, donor and fund raising initiatives and the WWF Africa ‘deliver as one’ initiativePrioritize and deliver stakeholder channel development to improve existing platforms and embed innovative solutions to increase communications and marketing effectivenessBuild relationships with key journalists and media outlets across the Africa region and maximize on positive and influential media coverage in international and Pan-African media – this includes support to coverage by regional media in East, West, Central and Southern AfricaParticipate in the development of the campaign structure to support regional fundraising effortsManage WWF Africa engagements by analyzing, organizing and executing key quarterly events across country offices and at the Regional Office for AfricaDevelop and execute yearly work plans for assigned campaign responsibilities; Establishing performance measures, monitoring results and producing evidence that demonstrates the effectiveness of ROA objectives and execution work plansRequired Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification from an accredited institution in the field of Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism. An advanced degree in Business Administration would be an advantageAt least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, understanding the challenges to delivering campaigns; and internal communications preferably in a large, customer-facing organization.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsGood project management and planning skills 
Ability to speak French will be an added advantage
