Vacancy: Sales and Marketing Manager



(1 Position)



Our Client is leading taxi and transport solutions provider. 



They provide fast pick-ups, enjoyable rides in cleans vehicles, with well-trained drivers and a high level of personalized customer care that focuses only on cash bookings. 



They have an exciting Sales & Marketing Manager position for which they are looking for a result oriented, focused and self-driven person. 


 


The position holder will focus on selling the product to two client groups; Taxi companies that will meet the supply for services by providing their cars to form the cab fleet and the customer who will create the demand.



The clientele will be walk – in clients or existing clients whose preference is cash/ credit card.
 



Purpose Statement of the Position: To create the Brand, create business cards, research, plan, acquire long-term clients for the company through the creation of the company’s positioning, market strategies, development and implementation of lead generation and lead conversion systems. 



Implement the Sales and marketing plans and safeguarding of the company image.
 



Duties and Responsibilities
 



Sales Management


  • Research on market trends

  • Acquire and retain Taxi companies as clients

  • Acquire and retain customers

  • Act as a key point of contact to clients

  • Account Analysis

  • Coordinate internal inspection of all vehicles on a monthly basis

  • Management of driver and vehicle swops

  • Inspects work areas to ensure safe and clean conditions are maintained at all time and that safety guidelines are observed.

  • Management of all files and documentation for entire fleet


Client Relationship


  • Address client queries and complaints in a clear and efficient manner

  • Ensure client expectations are met to the highest degree

  • Acquire 30% new clients by the end of 3 months period

  • Tap into new referral business from existing clients/drivers

  • Timely address to client queries within 1 hour of receipt of query and /or complaint


Reporting and communication


  • Create sales SOP within the first month

  • Creation of operational safety rules

  • Submit a report on vehicle status – new entries, accidents, swops on 15th of every month

  • Create an operation flow chart within 3 months

  • Achieve 30% sales and marketing growth target by end of 3 months period


Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on sales management.

  • Proven track- record of at least 2- 3 years of professional sales experience in same industry.

  • Sound knowledge and experience in sales reporting and forecasting, budgeting processes, business development and the execution of day-to-day sales performance.

  • Good leadership and influence skills geared towards business growth, staff motivation and customer loyalty.

  • Ambitious and self-driven individual

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to network and develop business relationships.

The ideal candidate should display first class aptitude and should ideally have; multi task assignments experience, team management skills, demonstrated flair for numbers, excellent presentation skills, and finally is in a front and/or middle office role.

 Salary Budget: Kshs. 40,000 – 50,000 Gross plus commission
