Sales & Marketing Representatives – Commission Based
This is a commission based position.
The position requires self-motivated individuals with great sales capabilities.
To sell tour packages to corporate, groups, individuals on behalf of the company.
Key Duties:
- Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
- Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products and provide clients with information on new and existing products and services.
- Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
- Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products
- Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects
- Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results
- Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget
- Liaison with media and advertising
- Attend meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.
- Contacting clients and setting up meetings with the aim to close deals
- Develop marketing strategies to compete with other individuals or agents who sell tour packages.
- Ensure that all client needs and travel requirements are fulfilled, the completion of appropriate forms.
- Explain tour packages, destinations and why we are the best Travel and Tour agents
- Acquire new clients and maintain existing clients, develop clientele by networking.
- Maintain and develop new customers through appropriate prospecting sales methods and relevant internal liaison so as to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Possess the ingenuity to design financial strategies that assists clients to make informed decisions and researching information from various sources.
- Planning and prioritizing personal sales activities geared towards agreed business targets
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries
- Report on weekly sales according to organization requirements
- Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. Requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided, and also the advised products.
Ideal applicants will have the following credentials and skills:
- Educated from an accredited college or at least 1 year of experience in a sales related work;
- Presentable, sales oriented and convincing;
- Good communication skills; Computer literate
- K.C.S.E grade C+, Sales and Marketing Experience for a minimum of 1 year. Undergraduate Degree holders and Diploma holders in Business related course is an added advantage.
- Must be 25 years and above.
- Should be able to work in any of the following locations (Nairobi, Eldoret, Kisumu, Kisii, Kakamega, Kitale, Nakuru, Naivasha, Nyeri, Mombasa and rest of Kenya).
- Certificate of Proficiency (COP) certification is an additional advantage
