A leading Mission Hospital within Muranga County is seeking to recruit a Director on 3 years’ renewable contract. The post holder will play a leadership and managerial role.
Hospital Director Job Responsibilities.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all resource departments and services of the hospital including personnel, financial, facilities, equipment and supplies.
- Responsible for the daily operation of the hospital.
- Promote and maintain effective public relations with the hospital stakeholders.
- Coordinate all the hospital functions efficiently and effectively.
- Spearhead the budgeting process of the hospital with a view of achieving proper controls.
- Ensure a proper financial system of the hospital.
- Ensure the hospital complies with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Upkeep of the hospital infrastructure, equipment and legal documents and ensure availability when required.
- Ensure performance management system is enhanced.
- Ensure the hospital fulfils its mission as it strives tachieve its vision while complying with the set code of conduct and maintaining the core values.
- Ensure adherence AICHM guidelines and policies.
- Engage in partnerships and collaboration with healthcare providers tsupport the facility.
- Ensure that the hospital adheres tset standard operating procedures and protocols in healthcare provision.
Qualifications for the Hospital Director Job
- A born again Christian
- A Kenyan citizen with at least 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
- A Medical Officer with at least 3 years of experience in a senior managerial position.
- Holders of a degree in Clinical Medicine and Surgery with at least 3 years of experience in a senior managerial position.
- Holders of a degree in Business Administration or any Business field from a recognized university with at least 3 years of experience in a Medical institution at managerial level.
- Applicants with an MBA will have added advantage.
- Applicants will also be required to produce a Certificate of Good Conduct and clearance from the EACC.
