We are looking for entrepreneurial talents to scale our business in Africa.
Who we are
Optimetriks is an East Africa based start-up whose innovative solutions enable FMCG companies operating in Africa to get a tighter control over their distribution networks and to gather insights on shop location, product availability, price and merchandising compliance. In a context where 90% of the retail sales happen in informal shops, having granular and independent data of high quality is key to succeed.
We rely on an a community of contributors, paid per missions, in a crowdsourced mode, to collect the data on the ground. We are building our own data collection platform, from our Android application, to data verification algorithms and visualisation dashboard. We have just won a significant grant from the GSMA Ecosystem Accelerator Innovation Fund to scale to new countries and need smart talents to contribute to that expansion.
What you will do
- End to end responsibility of operational projects, turn client requests in execution delivery
- Manage the local operations and field contributors teams
- Provide regular operational, commercial and financial reporting to stakeholders
- Contribute to product development tests, define hypothesis, run experiments, measure KPIs, provide feedbacks
- Source leads in the country among our target : FMCGs, institutions, etc
What you need to show

- Stringent execution discipline
- Commercial and communication skills in English
- Ability to be autonomous and proactive
