Pharmacy Quality Co-ordinator
Job Description:
- Collects, analyzes, and oversees data entry on
relevant quality performance indicators. - Monitors and evaluates appropriateness of
facility quality control plans and practices. - Designs, schedules and conducts quality review
audits as appropriate to the facility or service; performs or coordinates
chart and/or other medical record reviews and records and/or abstracts
specific relevant data as appropriate. - Generates and/or coordinates the development
of various reports regarding performance against quality indicators, as
appropriate to the individual position. - Participates in the planning, development,
coordination, and presentation of specific training and educational
programs as appropriate to the quality assurance needs of the facility or
service. - Collaborates and consults with other
associated facilities regarding current quality control issues and
activities. - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as
assigned.
- Knowledge of accreditation and certification
requirements and standards. - Records maintenance skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both
orally and in writing. - Ability to write reports containing technical
information. - Word processing and/or data entry skills.
- Knowledge of patient care charts and patient
histories. - Knowledge of quality control practices and
procedures within a hospital, patient care, or registry environment. - Ability to make evaluative judgments.
- Knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
- Ability to investigate and analyze information
and draw conclusions. - Ability to develop and present educational
programs and/or workshops. - Knowledge of data collection techniques.
- Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with
2-3 yrs. of experience. - Computer literate
- Available immediately
Starting Net Salary: Kes
25,000.00
