Applications are invited for the following project positions under WHO Multicountry Research – “Prevention of Postpartum Haemorrhage during Labour in Women Delivering Vaginally’ Study to be conducted at Kenyatta National Hospital Programme:-
Study Co-ordinator

Applicants must be holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent with a pass in English.
Applicants must be a Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or hold a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree.
They must have 5 years working experience in a maternity unit preferably in labour ward.
Applicants must be computer literate and have basic managerial skills as evidenced by a certificate.
Applicants with experience in research, management and IT will have added advantage
Among other duties, the applicant will be required to:-
- Work closely with the CARBETOCIN Investigators and the Data Manager
- Work closely with the staff of labour ward in issues of :-
- Training
- Recruitment off and randomization of study participants
- Data collection
- Maintenance of registers of randomized clients
Midwife

Applicants must be holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent with a pass in English.
Applicants must be a Kenya Registered Nurse Midwife or Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
Applicants must have at least two years working experience post qualification in a busy maternity wing.
Applicants with training and experience in research in IT will have added advantage
Among other duties, the applicant will be required to:-
- Work closely with the CARBETOCIN Investigators, Study Co-ordinator and the Data Manager
- Work closely with the staff of labour ward to :-
- Recruit and randomize study participants
- Collect Data
- Maintain registers of randomized clients
Data Manager

Applicants must be holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or its equivalent with a pass in English.
Applicants must be a Diploma or degree in IT and data entry.
Applicants with training and experience in research will have added advantage
Among other duties, the applicant will be required to:-
- Undergo training for online data entry
- Work closely with the CARBETOCIN Investigators, Study Co-ordinator
- Enter data online using the Open clinical System
- Perform administrative duties
