Job Description
Our client, a Food Manufacturing entity based in Thika Kenya is seeking to recruit Territory Sales Executives.The individual(s) must be highly motivated, have high energy, and have an entrepreneurial spirit to sell, train, manage to drive new business revenue.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop territory, market penetration and sales execution strategies to consistently attain and exceed goals.
- Direct sales focus to identify and uncover opportunities.
- Ensure each Merchandiser and distributor is equipped, well stocked and serviced.
- Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
- Maintains and expands customer base building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
- Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
- Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending
Requirements
- Should hold a Bachelors of Commerce Degree in Marketing
- MUST have at least 4 years Territory Management Experience
- MUST have at least 4 years in FMCG sales. (Sales of Food products will be preferred.)
- MUST hold a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Successful business to business sales management experience preferred.
