Retail Sales Assistant – Office Supplies Store at Advatech Office Supplies Limited

We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business.


Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions.


A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.


Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Receive customers and assist them with the selection of items

  2. Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily

  3. Help customers in billing and payment processes at the stores counter

  4. Communicate and advise clients on information about product availability.

  5. Handle record keeping and re-ordering systems

  6. Help with preparation for displays, trade shows and windows

  7. Lead the shop team in meeting targets

  8. Ensuring customers get the value for their money by ensuring delivering of quality products and customer satisfaction.

  9. Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)

  10. Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)

  11. Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking items on the shelves

  12. Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager

  13. Any other duty assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS



  1. Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role

  2. Understanding of the retail sales process

  3. Must be Computer literate

  4. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  5. Excellent customer service skills

  6. Exceptional work ethic and strict adherence to company policy and sales goals

  7. Ability to work flexible hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment

  8. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented

  9. Ability to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision

  10. Time management and ability to prioritize tasks given

  11. Willingness to learn about new items and procedures quickly
