Our client in the hospitality industry is looking to fill in the above position, to be based in Nairobi. 


Job Purpose


Responsible for developing and executing a social media marketing strategy designed to increase our online presence thereby maximizing sales and profits for the business, enhancing customer experience and driving repeat business.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Manage social media accounts and online food delivery platforms

  • Create and manage social media content

  • Provide feedback to clients

  • Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional activities

  • Expand and develop marketing platforms including social media platforms

  • Create powerful web presence to boost brand awareness.

  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future business

  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information

  • Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and projects

  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results

  • Deliver marketing activity within agreed budget

  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure targets are met

  • Managing campaigns on social media, monitoring and analyzing marketing performance

  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Stay up to date with best practices and promotional trends

  • Any other tasks as may arise


Qualifications



  • A degree or diploma in Communications, IT, Marketing or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity preferably within the hospitality industry.

  • Deep understanding of local, regional and international marketing tools

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Team player and a good listener

  • An excellent communicator
