Farmer’s Choice was founded in 1980, with the central purpose of selling fresh and processed pork products to all income groups in Kenya.


Job Summary


We are looking for a sales merchandiser who is passionate  about  interacting  with potential consumers and promoting exciting products. The merchandiser will handle all retail stores activations. product display and inventory.


Key Responsibilities



  1. Provide merchandising support and services to the assigned retail outlets in tandem with the required merchandising standard s

  2. Retail relationship: build, sustain and enhance rapport with store personnel

  3. Stock management: Maintain optimum amount of quality stock of a II SKUs ensuring adherence to FIFO

  4. Sales Management:

    1. Trigger orders and follow up for delivery.

    2. Ensure growth in the shelf off take



  5. Visibility: Ensure merchandising objectives are achieved by negotiating for SOS, product placement, POSM placement, extra feature di splays etc.

  6. Reporting: Ensure accurate reports are submitted on time to the relevant recipients.

  7. Any other duty assigned by the Team Leader


Skills & Qualifications



  1. O level certification

  2. Certificate in a Sales related field.

  3. At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Merchandiser.

  4. Confident with excellent communication and negotiation  skills

  5. MUST have a functions I smart phone

  6. Product awareness and commercial orientation Ab ility to rush for orders and LPOs

  7. Aggressive and Proactive.
