The University seeks to engage suitable and qualified candidates to offer academic teaching and learning in the following areas:
Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer: Computer Science

Academic requirements
- -PhD in Computer Science coupled with MSC in Computer Science.
- -PhD student in the final stage of study would be considered.
Demonstrated proficiency in the following:
- -Digital literacy for facilitation of technical courses through online learning
- -Computer Programming, Advanced Computer Networking, Analogue and Digital Electronics, Advanced Web Application Development, Advanced Databases, and Analysis of Algorithms.
- -Industrial experience with professional certifications.
Qualifications and Experience Professor:
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as an Associate
- A minimum of sixty (60) publication points as an Associate Professor or equivalent, of which at least forty (40) should be from refereed scholarly
- National, Regional, and international recognition for
- Supervised at least five (5) post-graduate students to completion, including at least two (2) doctoral
- Attracted research funds as an Associate Professor or
Associate Professor:
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Senior Lecturer or Senior Researcher or six (6) years senior research/industry
- A minimum of forty-eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least thirty-two (32) should be from refereed scholarly
- National, Regional, and international recognition for
- Supervised at least four (4) post-graduate students to completion, including at least one doctoral
- Attracted research funds as a Senior Lecturer/Senior Research
Senior Lecturer:
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer or Senior Researcher or six (6) years research/industry
- A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty-four (24) should be from refereed scholarly
- National, Regional, and international recognition for
- Supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer or
- Attracted research funds as a Lecturer/Research
Lecturer:
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a lecturer or five (5) years research/industry experience with a track record of securing research
- A minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refereed scholarly
General Expectations:
- Demonstrated Teaching skills as evidenced by student evaluation and peer
- Demonstrated evidence of success in some major non-teaching responsibilities at the University or other reputable organization will be an added
- Conversant with online teaching and
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of a high-quality
- Review curriculum and course outlines and develop course and lesson
- Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching
- Employ various teaching methods (such as field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, off class activities etc.) to help student learning and deliver course
- Develop learning assessment
- Supervise and guide undergraduate students, graduate students, internship, and research
- Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas, publishing findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media and participate in grant writing and
- Advising students on academic, career, and any other related issues when
- Attending conferences, workshops and seminars, industrial linkages, and market outreach visits or related when
- Participate in departmental administrative and field operations and
