Terms of Reference Role: Staff Group Counselling / Staff Debriefing Sessions on Monthly Basis Duration: 1 day per session (between April to August 2014) Child Protection Level: Level 3 Venue: Dadaab Background: Save the Children has been operational in the Dadaab refugee camps since 2007 when a child protection programme was established. The programme is now one of Save the Children’s largest child protection programmes globally and can be termed multi-sector: Programmes focus on gender-based violence prevention and response; response to children without appropriate care, including family tracing and reunification, foster care placement and resettlement to third countries; case management of other protection concerns; individual and group counselling; children’s participation and psychosocial support through Child Education and Welfare Centres and Children’s Clubs; training to police, teachers and agencies; and working with community groups.
