Our client is one of the leading companies in Kenya that specializes in the manufacturing of personal care, tissues and hygiene products. 

They are market leaders across numerous product categories and have established themselves as one of the strongest consumer household brands in East Africa. They seek to hire regional sales representatives to manage sales in designated regions.

Job Purpose: To provide leadership to sales teams, distributors and retailers for achievement of sales targets in the assigned territory.

Duties & Responsibilities

Achieve the Area’s sales and revenue targetsEstablish an environment and foundation for future sales growth.Direct selling activities within the Area, including deploying resources and customer servicePrioritizes effectively and in accordance with corporate objectivesManage the Sales Representatives including their performance, hiring and trainingSetting sales targets for individual sales representatives and your team as a wholeMonitoring the team's performance and motivating them to reach targetsResponsible for the Area’s forecasting and sales trackingEvaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth of Area sales, surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitorsDeveloping new routes to various markets.Handle special projects as assigned.Servicing the needs of the existing customersPreparing the Areas annual budget and scheduling expenditures;    Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan for the Area to meet national objectivesBuilding and maintaining rapport with key accounts and identifying new customer opportunities.Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities,.Update on the job knowledge by participating in training opportunities and maintaining personal networks.Regular reporting to the head of sales Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing.Additional professional qualifications in Sales & MarketingMust have 3 – 4 years experience managing sales in a territory.Perfect knowledge of Nairobi area is an added advantageExperience in working in an FMCG/ manufacturing.Must have at least 2 years of experience in supervising a sales team.Experience in developing and maintaining business growth,  distribution management , Market research, and product launchesSkills in Customer care, branding, field sales, communicationMust be self driven and able to meet deadlinesHigh level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a “can do” attitudeResult oriented, Problem analysis and problem-solvingPersuasiveness, innovation and judgmentTake responsibility for the direction, control and planning of an activityWorks with minimal supervision and stress tolerantRelate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and co-operationMaintain effective communication with colleagues, both junior and seniorIf you are up to the challenge, posses the necessary qualification and experience, please send your CV only quoting the job title on the email subject (FMCG Regional Sales Representative – Nyeri 110k gross) to vacancies@corporatestaffing.co.ke before 9th December, 2014
