Vacancy: Sales Support
Our client is amongst Kenya’s largest integrated manufacturer and suppliers of building, fabricating and engineering materials.
Headquartered in Nairobi, they conduct business throughout East and Central Africa.
Their primary focus is and has always been to deliver sustainable solutions that meet the needs of their clients.
Job Purpose: To undertake Administration and other office duties that leave the Sales team free to focus on the busy business of Selling.
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct normal Sales from the Head Office Counter
- Coordinate Sales Activities with the Field Sales Staff
- Raise the relevant Sales Documents
- Process Sales Leads according to received information
- Keep track of periodical Sales (Weekly, Monthly & Annually
- Keep track of Stock Levels for the different Products
- Keep tracking the Sales Targets against Achievement
- Monitor Customers Accounts in relation to Purchases, Estimated Stock & Payments
- Generate quotations for the different Products and different Customers and send them out
- Coordinate activities with the Vendors as well as Coordinate activities between Sales Staff & Logistics
- Make management Reports (Weekly, Monthly and Annually)
- Support the Sales Team in making their Reports
- Receiving Sales calls and participate in stock taking
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Marketing or related field.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel & Power Point. Oracle Knowledge will be an added advantage
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Sales and or Sales Support preferably with in the steel industry
