Vacancy: Sales Executive – Chinese Speaking
Summary: Our client is amongst Kenya’s largest integrated manufacturer and suppliers of building, fabricating and engineering materials.
Headquartered in Nairobi, they conduct business throughout East and Central Africa.
Their primary focus is and has always been to deliver sustainable solutions that meet the needs of their clients.
Job Purpose: Increase product sales, and market penetration of all the products for the company. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting frequent follow up visits on existing clients to ensure retention
- Conducting regular field visits to attract new clients
- Studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Participating /attending exhibitions and fairs to get opportunities to interact with potential customers
- Sending daily/weekly/monthly/yearly reports on field work
- Gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
- Gathering information on current pricing, packaging ,etc trends
- Venturing into untapped markets that are yet to be explored.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or Marketing or related field.
- Working Knowledge of the Chinese (Mandarin) language.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Sales, preferably with in the steel industry
- Culturally aware and adept at working across multiple geographies
- Customer focus / orientation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- High on entrepreneurial spirit
