Vacancy: Application Support Assistant (.NET)
eBiashara Africa LTD is looking for a urbane Application Support Assistant with sufficient experience in administering .NET based applications on Linux and Windows environment.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for deployment, maintenance, operation and technical support for our client’s applications across all environments i.e. test, pre-production and production.
Responsibilities will include:
- Installing, administering and maintaining applications and environments
- Assisting in the setup of host hardware and network infrastructure
- Monitoring performance and availability of hardware, services, and applications
- Administer user accounts on operating systems and applications
- Provide security fixes and enhancements to applications and environments
- Building, deploying and supporting application interfaces
- Deploying and administering workflow for applications and database
- Performing regular updates and maintenance activities to applications and environments
- Assisting in preparation of systems documentation, configurations and technical processes
- Diagnosing and/or clarifying and/or resolving support requests
Qualifications
- Good knowledge in administering Windows Server environments
- Experience in distributed systems and client-server architectures
- High comfort level in .NET applications
- In-depth understanding of modern software principles
- Good working knowledge of systems security, networking infrastructure, and host connectivity
- Ability to do Technical/Business Analyses on client requirements

- Ability to manage tasks and time well
