
• Maintain high service standards by ensuring underwriting complies with Group and BC credit policies and adheres to CAD and CPM requirements while at the same time supporting achievement of set TAT standards.
• Ensuring that all applications processed are in compliance with RC Credit Policy and Standards;
• Ensures that application processing is within the set turn-around timeframes and are efficiently carried out;
• Exercise diligence, independence and good judgement in credit decision that will ensure quality RC portfolio with minimum delinquency and LI;
• Ensure Credit Risk Management practices are adhered to in the unit. In particular, contribute towards updating capacity plans, and tracking of declined applications and assistance on SAM process to make it more robust.
• Legal, regulatory, economic and complianceQualifications
• Graduate with 4 year experience in Credit and/or business;
• Credit skills and analytical skills (CSAP certification)
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Understands market trends and can interpret impact on portfolio behaviour.
• Full knowledge of Retail Banking Products and those of the competitors
• Good Computer skills with knowledge of the Credit MIS
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
