Assistant Manager / Supervisor
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for placing the order for the next day, compiles daily action plan and communicates it to the crew, preparing daily shift report, budget sheet and purchase summary, Inspects customer seating area for cleanliness, tidiness and quality service, ensures that the store operates within the allocated budget, Checks gas bottles, generator fuel and water tank levels, checks correct usage of cleaning materials and reads electricity metes. Checking the store security, cleanliness and tidinessChecking crew attendanceInspecting dress codeChecking closing stock for previous day against opening stock for the present dayCompiling daily action plan and communicates it to the crew membersChecking stock levels and issues stockChecking previous day’s written orders to suppliersPlacing the order for the next dayReceiving stock and checks deliveries from various suppliersConducting a pre-shift meeting with the ManagementChecking correct usage of cleaning materialsKey Qualifications and ExperienceDiploma in Hotel Management At least 3 years’ experience as a restaurant supervisor Must have worked in the hospitality industry Have knowledge of ordering, receiving, storing and issuing proceduresStrong verbal and written communication skillsInterested candidates are requested to forward their updated CVs to recruit@virtualhr.co.ke by 25th September 2014 stating their current and expected remuneration, daytime telephone contacts and addresses of three referees.
