Regional Business Development Manager Jobs in Kenya



Will be an aggressive and ambitious business development professional who consistently exceeds targets and sets the agenda in his or her sector.
Location: To be based in Mombasa Kenya with regional travel.
Reporting: S/he will report to the National BDM. The successful candidate will be a key player in a dynamic, high performing team focused obsessively on the sales process.



Business Development Manager Responsibilities


  • Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region

  • Managing a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals

  • Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals

  • Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Identify and generate leads through market research, networking, events, and business associations.

  • Activate the leads generated.

  • Identify new market segments and opportunities;

  • Work with the BDM & MD to develop new products to meet the needs of these segments.

  • Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, contacting, nurturing and closing deals.

  • Work closely with the rest of the Business Development team to develop and improve on best practices & processes.

  • Any other role as assigned by BDM

Qualifications for the Business Development Manager Job


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A drive and tenacity to develop completely new sales.

  • Ability to identify and help solve problems for potential clients.

  • Ability to generate new leads and relationships and systematically convert those leads into deals.

  • A commitment to our mission, vision, values and core beliefs.

  • Clear and effective communicator – both written and verbal.

  • Strong people skills. Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Absolutely rock-solid integrity.

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university and equivalent experience.

  • 7 years’ experience with 4+ years business development experience,

  • Documented success managing a full sales cycle.

  • Experience writing business documents such as proposals and training presentations.

Joining Date: Immediate


Remuneration: Competitive retainer and commission.
