Business Development Executive (Insurance) Vacancy in Kenya




Sheer Logic is looking to engage a dynamic individual for the Business Development Executive position for one of our clients in the Insurance Sector.
 



Salary: 170K



Job Purpose: Assist to acquire new clients and cross sell products to existing ones; identify new sales leads’ pitch products and/ or services and maintain fruitful relationships with existing clients.
 



Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Business related field e.g Sales & Marketing, Business Administration

  • Pursuing professional Qualifications in CIM

  • At least 3 years selling Insurance solutions


Key Responsibilities


  • Research market needs

  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

  • Planning and coordinating marketing initiatives

  • Develop quotes, tenders and proposals with minimal supervision

  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products

  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing clients

  • Research and build relationships with new/ existing clients

  • Present new products and services to new and existing clients

  • Work with technical; staff and other colleagues to meet client needs

  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs

  • Submit weekly reports
