Sheer Logic is looking to engage a dynamic individual for the Senior Business Development Executive position for one of our clients in the Insurance Sector.
Salary: 170K
Job Purpose: Drive the acquisition of new clients and maintain fruitful relationships with existing clients in order to grow client base and market share
Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree in a Business related field e.g Sales & Marketing or Business Administration
- Certification in AIK,ACII, CIM, ACCA will be an added advantage
- 5 years’ experience in selling insurance solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver revenue target as agreed on with Head of Business Development
- Researching and endorsing prospect leads
- Making clod calls and establishing rapport in order to set up meetings
- Planning, coordinating and attending presentations as lead Zamara representative
- Proposing and selling insurance solutions for prospect clients based on assessment of their needs
- Negotiating and signing off on best prices for clients and Zamara
- Review and sign off on tender documents and proposals ensuring they are presented as per tender guide and delivered on time
- updating existing clients on new product developments with the view of cross selling and organic growth
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to ensure client needs are met within SLA
- Act as lead representative in internal and external client debriefs
- Lead customer recovery process as and when need be
- Contribute to business strategy, development of annual targets and new business leads
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure date is accurate
- Proposing new products
