Retail Manager Job Vacancy in Kenya




We are

looking for a highly motivated 
Retail

Manager
 with

immediate availability to join our sales and marketing team in Kenya.

Detailed Responsibilities:



  • Timely

    and accurate reporting to the Sales and Marketing management in the HQ as

    well as the country GM

  • Leading

    and supporting the Sales and Marketing team, the Supply Chain team as well

    as the Kiosk operators

  • Responsible

    to achieve the set targets (GP and turnover), constantly reducing costs

    and increasing footfall and turnover on the kiosks. Responsible for the

    performance of the teams and the kiosk sites

  • Produce

    and submit agreed on retail related reports on KPI’s, sales enhancing

    activities, product and service performance, stock level and shrinkages,

    basket value, footfall, sales forecast and others.

  • Work

    with the Sales teams to determine the optimal product and service mix at

    each E-HUBB, develop new business opportunities and ideas to improve the

    existing product and service mix

  • Implement

    key distribution and sales channel strategies

  • Implement

    key merchandising mechanism/planograms for each kiosk

  • Implement

    know your customer strategies

  • Implement

    the right pricing strategy

  • Undertake

    other necessary sales and marketing related activities to constantly

    improve performance

  • Be

    a stakeholder on the new Site Steering Committee, help analyzing new

    proposed sites from a Sales and Marketing point of view.

  • Implement

    a minimum stock level system


  • Implement

    continuous stock take process to reduce aged stock and stock shrinkage

  • Overview

    and help to manage supplier relationships in order to secure best pricing

    and terms and conditions.

  • Responsible

    for the logistics strategy in order to find new opportunities to lower the

    cost of goods sold without compromising product availability in the kiosk

  • 3

    – 5 years of retail management experience, ideally with a particular focus

    on field experience within a retail organization.

  • Great

    organization and time management skills

  • Have

    an excellent attention to detail and understanding of numbers

  • Hands

    on mentality

  • Inspires

    others in the shop team with great coaching and development skills

  • Excellent

    communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain

    effective relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds

  • Excellent

    command of the English language (spoken & written fluency – published

    writing sample required); additional fluency in German preferred, French

    language knowledge is an asset

  • Excellent

    MS office skills
