Our client is looking for a Project and Construction Manager who is to look after building projects from start to finish
Job Description
- He must be able to work with operational software and monitor labour target rates
- Present costs for variations
- Keep all project paperwork for claims; Delays and Variations
- Look after foreman and Clerk of Works to ensure timely completion
- Complete client snag lists to the highest level
- Has to have a clear ability to discuss daily site issues over the phone
- Clear understanding of building regulations and procedures to meet those standards
- A responsible leader, not a drinker and be prepared to travel between sites in company vehicles
- Importantly the client is a bush based company, he must be able to deal with the wild, sleep rough if need be and be part of the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field, such as building science, construction management or civil engineering
- Experience as a Project and construction Manager for a minimum of 3 years
- Have general experience in construction for not less than 5 years
- Be open minded
- Ready for all types of working environments
