Our client, an internationally affiliated brand dealing in fast-moving consumer Head of Finance
goods is beginning its operations in Kenya and is now seeking to recruit the
following position:
Reporting
to the Chief Executive Officer, Head of Finance will provide strategic
leadership in developing the business financial strategy; safeguarding
organization’s asset and managing financial performance, reporting and internal
controls to achieve operational efficiency and financial sustainability.
S/he
will be responsible for systems and processes, tax and regulatory requirements,
company payroll, ongoing financial modelling and annual business plans.
The
successful candidate will be experienced ¡n financial budgeting and strategy;
business evaluation and advice, risk management and corporate governance,
managed statutory requirements financial accounting and reporting.
S/he
will also have the ability to optimize operations, reduce costs, improve
service quality, build new business and forge loyalty with clients, vendors and
external business partners.
Key
Qualification, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s
degree in Business field such as accounting, finance etc. - MBA
Degree is an added advantage; - CPA
(K) / ACCA and a member of a professional body in good standing; - 7
years with at least 3 years at senior management level in driving finance
and strategy function; - Strong
financial management, Corporate risks management skills; - Exceptional
customer focus, Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate
effectively at all levels; - Knowledge
of Financial and ERP systems;
