Our client in floriculture industry is looking for an experienced Pack House Manager to be based in Uganda.

Overall Purpose: To oversee the implementation of best practice routines and the organisation of the Pack House, whilst ensuring that we are delivering the best quality Roses to the market.
Identify short and long-term goals for the department connected to the overall business results.
Job Profile
- Responsible for the overall organization and running of the Pack house team and their efficiency as a department. You will support in recruiting the right people in the right time, to ensure you only have the best.
- To oversee and manage the whole process of receiving flowers from the field to grading, and packing. This will include ensuring that standard is of a high quality.
- To take ownership of all customer orders, book airline space according to weekly production forecast and liaises with all departments concerned.
- Oversee the waste recycling process from all waste in the grading house.
- To have experience in managing the record keeping for the annual certifications of MPA ABC, M PS-GAP etc.
Person Profile
- University degree that is related to or has transferable skills to the floriculture industry.
- Minimum of 5 years work experience within the industry is a must.
