Sales Executive: Information Technology


ScriptX Consulting Limited is looking for an energetic professional to take the new role of a Sales Executive.


This position requires someone who takes initiative, is eager to learn, and can contribute to the growth of the company.



Under the guidance of the management team, the roles of a sales executive will mainly be to sell ScriptX Consulting Ltd’s products and services, come up with innovative ways to reach clients, and look for new lines of businesses that will grow the company.
Job Description


  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;

  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;

  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements and communicating back to the product development team;

  • Gathering market and customer information and writing appropriate proposals for consideration;

  • Responding to incoming sales emails and phone enquiries;

  • Attending team meetings and advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;

  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;

  • Liaising with suppliers and following up on progress;

  • Record keeping and managing of customer files in the office as well as establishing a CRM.

Qualifications


  • Advanced diploma in sales and marketing, business administration, information technology, project management or closely related field.

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in sales and marketing of IT products.

  • Ability to interpret technical procedures to customers, public officials and other lay persons.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers.

  • Proficiency in writing proposals, visual design skills and making effective oral presentations.

  • Ability to solve complex problems, takes initiative and is decisive.

Remuneration: A monthly stipend with commissions based on sales.


The incumbent will be required to satisfactorily complete a 3-month probationary period before confirmation.
