Our Client is an International IT company currently recruiting a Regional Head.
Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic
- Own Business Development for the Region. Responsible for overall market development of existing countries of presence and partner expansions in potential countries.
- To ensure the company becomes most preferred business solution in Africa Region and become dominant players in all countries.
Operational
Market Creation
- Responsible for identification of the right partner and discuss partnership models and appoint right partner for Tally business in countries of operations and countries of expansions.
- Build up relationships with embassies in countries of operations and work with them for promotion of the companies software
- Responsible for building relationships with Influencers and ensure that the company gets promoted through them.
- Work with Country Managers to ensure that there is an established partner network in these countries.
- Ensure partners business growth, in turn resulting in Company’s growth.
- Explore possibilities of Alliances and Mergers for establishing Tally operations in other African countries.
Branch Operations
- Ensure smooth running of branch operations and have accountability of branch P&L.
- Ensure local compliance in assistance with Legal and HR Teams.
Market Development/ People:
- Support Business Managers in making decisions on growth areas – and develop revenue models and associated budgets – in line with the organizational strategic plan, and regional and country priorities; in close collaboration with the Product Market Management and support Country Managers in the development, review, refinement and delivery of Country Strategic Plans.
- Collaborate with team to develop and deepen thinking and design; in collaboration with the Product Market Management, design innovative programs that better address the needs of customers and partners in the region.
- In collaboration with the , Product Market Management Team and Quality Assurance team, assist the country team with Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Training and Capacity Building for ecosystem.
- In collaboration with the Product Market Management, learn from program implementation and modify methodology and tools to represent best practices as they evolve. Share best practices and lessons learned with other International Teams.
Requirements
- Local Regional experience.
- IT Experience Preferred.
- At least 10-12 years in a Supervisory role
- Excellent presentation, listening and consulting skills are vital, and should be able to process a wide range of information and communicate it clearly to the partner.
- Excellent communication skills (English and local)
- Analytical skills (Market, Segment, Businesses)
- Good decision making skill
- Good sales and negotiation skills
- People management skills
- Relationship Management.
