Job Group: Q
Basic Salary: Ksh 89,748- 120,270
House Allowance: Ksh. 40,000,

Commuter: Ksh 14,000,

Leave: Ksh10,000

and other related allowances relevant to the position and Department

Job Purpose / Job Summary: Provides overall management and facilitates effective and efficient provision of clinical services.

Also, manages people and resources of the division in an effective and efficient manner.

Duties and responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates clinical services.


• Ensure that policy, standards and guidelines are disseminated and understood.


• Oversees the implementation of health policy, standards and regulation guidelines.


• Oversees quality improvement of patient care.


• In collaboration with other sections and divisions, assist with the preparation and implementation of annual budgets, operating plans, and strategic initiatives.


• Ensure implementation of risk management framework.


• Participate as a member of county health team, county health training committee, health advisory committee and health procurement committee.


• Promote staff career development, appraisal and motivation.


• Promote intersectional and interdivisional collaboration.


• Follows up procurement of goods and services within the division if necessary


• Any other responsibilities as delegated by the County Director.

Requirements

• Be a Kenyan Citizen


• Be registered with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board


• A holder of MBchB Degree from a recognised university


• A Holder of Mmed or MPH


• Have undergone Strategic Leadership Course and Senior Management Course


• At least ten (10) years of experience of which at least seven (7) are in senior management position in the health sector
