This position presents you with the

The role holder will be responsible

for effective delivery of the full range of corporate forex products to

customers with a view to growing revenues and maintain continuous engagements

so as to create synergies and wider product reach.
 

The Role
 




Specifically, the successful

jobholder will be required to:

  • Support the Head, Corporate Sales to ensure

    efficient and effective delivery of the full range of treasury products

    and services.

  • Key focus will be to grow foreign exchange

    transactions from corporate clients and increase the banks penetration of

    business units by both retention and acquisition of new relationships.

  • Actively contribute to improvements in

    quality/efficiency of treasury products delivery process and support

    product development and sales initiatives by other business units.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining client

    visits with relationship managers and follow up on reported action points.

  • Continuously engage the larger business

    divisions and build a network of relationships across all economic

    sectors.

  • Deliver market information and insight to

    customers via daily briefs delivered by email, text message etc.

  • Ensure service excellence to both internal and

    external customers.


Skills, Competencies and Experience
 


The successful candidate will be

required to have the following skills and competencies:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business related

    field. MBA and ACI Dealing certificates will be an added advantage.

  • Hands on banking experience for a period of

    not less 3 years, with at least a minimum of 2 year in Corporate

    Relationship Management or Treasury sales

  • Excellent knowledge of treasury products with

    a thorough knowledge of end to end processes for treasury products and

    services

  • Market Knowledge of local and international

    events and their likely impact on currency and interest rates

  • A good knowledge of other bank’s products and

    services, the financial sector, banking services, capital markets and key

    relevant stakeholder organizations.

  • Excellent analytical & presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, team player with an outgoing

    Personality

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet

    challenging targets

  • Good oral and written communication skills

self-driven and highly motivated experienced professional to come and be part

implement and corporate collection solutions and manage liabilities across the

business segments.
 


Product Manager – Collections &

Liabilities

 


The successful jobholder will be

expected to:

  • Act as a senior source of professional

    expertise and have principal accountability for the strategic direction

    and implementation of the corporate collection portfolio of products by

    ensuring that they are fit for purpose and are distributed & delivered

    to customers.

  • Work closely with Business Segment RMs and

    Business Bankers at the branch level to enhance corporate collection

    proposition and work with other stake holders to develop and implement

    wide collection solutions for corporate customers and also deliver

    Transactional Banking solutions to clients of varying size and complexity

    jointly with the implementation team and other stake-holders

  • Be responsible and accountable for the

    implementation and execution of several strategies to grow deposits &

    collection revenues while building strong relationships with key and

    diverse stakeholders to manage their multiple needs and ensure delivery of

    customer solutions.

  • Generate incremental deposits and transactions

    to ensure increased profitability and also convert more customers for the

    bank and retain them as long term customers with a focus to Contribute to

    the overall growth of the Bank’s NFI and transactional customer base.

  • Identify cross–selling opportunities when

    making customer contacts so as to maximize the customer value from each

    interaction and also co-ordinate Sales, Solution Implementation and

    support to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Drive and deliver exceptional sales

    performance by identifying and meeting customer needs through selling

    & cross selling of Transactional Banking Solutions and other bank

    services.

  • Review, evaluate and manage risks, to ensure

    adherence to the bank’s risk framework and wider industry regulations.

  • Either through own initiative, or teams, be a

    pro-active member of the department, working to reduce implementation cycle

    time and ensure resolution of all escalated Transaction Banking complaints

    and challenges within the agreed turnaround time.

  • Ensure reconciliation reports, tailor-made for

    each customer are availed to customers in a timely manner and also provide

    periodic MIS and metrics on progress of deals managed and provide input to

    management on solution implementation progress.


Qualifications, Skills &

Attributes

 


The successful jobholder will be

required to possess the following qualifications:-

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business related

    field.

  • At least 4-5 years’ banking experience, of

    which 3 years should be in Cash Management – Collections &

    Liabilities.

  • Strong marketing, presentation and

    decision-making ability coupled with good knowledge of corporate collections

    solutions and other Cash Management solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of the banking sector and

    general operations. Detailed knowledge of bank operations, banks products,

    services and policies.

  • A performance driver with good organizational

    skills.

  • Excellent customer service and relationship

    management skills

  • Good Interpersonal, leadership and decision

    making skills

  • Excellent presentation and communication, with

    great report writing skills

  • A performance driver with good organizational

    skills.
