Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive in Nairobi
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement the sales and marketing strategy
- Seek & service new accounts to ensure our business partners are continuously serviced and are satisfied.
- Prepare and present sales proposals to clients
- Consistently drive and meet sales, revenue and market share targets for the business.
- Prepare regular sales and marketing reports
- Forecast sales by studying existing and potential customers.
- Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery techniques
- Recommend improvement in products or services by monitoring market trends.
- Client service roles of monitoring client satisfaction on services provided
- Maintain a client database
- Follow up on clients to closing deals
- Represent the organization in relevant trade fairs
- Train and support sales and customer support teams
- Maximize the use of different avenues such as blogging, social media, and talks in sourcing for business.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing
- Two (2) years minimum experience preferably in sales and marketing.
- Corporate sales experience an advantage
- Computer skilled: Ms. Office etc.
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with teams and be a team builder.
- Ability to apply innovative and effective techniques.
- Positive attitude towards work and be open minded.
- Takes initiative and works without supervision
