Business Development Executive Job in Nairobi Kenya - 2015





Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive in Nairobi

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Implement the sales and marketing strategy

  • Seek & service new accounts to ensure our business partners are continuously serviced and are satisfied.

  • Prepare and present sales proposals to clients

  • Consistently drive and meet sales, revenue and market share targets for the business.

  • Prepare regular sales and marketing reports

  • Forecast sales by studying existing and potential customers.

  • Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery techniques

  • Recommend improvement in products or services by monitoring market trends.

  • Client service roles of monitoring client satisfaction on services provided

  • Maintain a client database

  • Follow up on clients to closing deals

  • Represent the organization in relevant trade fairs

  • Train and support sales and customer support teams

  • Maximize the use of different avenues such as blogging, social media, and talks in sourcing for business.


Skills and qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing

  • Two (2) years minimum experience preferably in sales and marketing.

  • Corporate sales experience an advantage

  • Computer skilled: Ms. Office etc.

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with teams and be a team builder.

  • Ability to apply innovative and effective techniques.

  • Positive attitude towards work and be open minded.

  • Takes initiative and works without supervision
