Simba Wells Bar & Restaurant
We are looking for three versatile and professional DJs to join our team as a Resident Disc Jockeys for our three bars and restaurants located in Meru County.Due to our very high standards, we are only seeking the very best of best.
Our requirements are:
- You have been professional DJ for 4 years or more in a nightclub.
- You have a clear and natural “microphone” voice.
- You will be able to read and hold a large crowd on the dance floor playing to all ages and all types of music.
- You are able mix different music genres without a sweat
- You will be of smart appearance.
- You will be based in Meru, Maua and Kiutine towns of Meru County.
- Play and mix records in clubs or bars, to create atmosphere or keep people dancing
- Choose music to suit your audience’s taste and the venue’s music policy
- Operate lighting and visual effects in time to the beat
- Create your own sounds by manipulating beats, using samples, adding extra music and sound effects
- Specialty in soul and Lingala with is an added advantage.
Key Skills
- Being able to use sound boards and turntables.
- Having knowledge about musical trends.
- Being creative.
- Having good pronunciation.
- Being self-motivated and proactive.
- Having good communication skills.
- Having high attention to details.
- Being constantly informed about national news.
- Having good working knowledge of Sound Systems
- Good in spoken language (English/Kiswahili and Sheng)
